I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, Book 1)
This was one of those rare books that, as you're reading, you realize you are holding your breath. You realize you haven't noticed three hours passing. You turn off the light and go upstairs to go to bed after finishing and become terrified that the aliens from the book are coming. Some unreasonable part of your brain wants to stay up and not stop reading until you've finished the whole sequel. This book was amazing, a great story told with great language and suspense.
